Welcome to Dakshini Bengali Assocciation's Newsletter!!
Dakshini’s newsletter ‘Diganta’ was s launched on September 15, 2010; and it endeavors to serve as a medium to facilitate open communication and networking among members of the community. The name ‘Diganta’ was selected as a result of popular poll by Dakshini members. Just like its name ‘Diganta’ meaning horizon, Dakshini would likke to expand its vision beyond the immediate horizon, and embrace the spirit of inclusiveness.
The overall goal is to reach out to the extended Bengali community all over Southern California, and form a bridge between the past and present generation, as well as the American and Indian culture. We appreciate your support, and participation to make this endeavor successful.
