Welcome to the official home page of Dakshini Bengali Association of California. DAKSHINI has reached an important milestone - completing 25 years of serving the local community. Please visit this site often to get up-to-date news about all the activities taking place in the Los Angeles Bengali Community.

Dakshini conducts, coordinates and promotes the community, cultural and social activities among the people of Indian origin in the USA and the people of other cultures on behalf of the Bengali community. It fosters friendship and understanding between the people of Bengali origin, Indian origin, and the Americans.

The navigation window on the top should guide you through all of the various areas of this site. This site also has links to various other "cool" sites catering to Bengali culture.

Important Notice: California State laws prohibits smoking, drinking and littering inside the school premises, including the parking lot. We are requesting everyone to abide by these restrictions and help us to organize a smooth and enjoyable event.
