DURGA PUJA 2020

Dakshini is celebrating Virtual Durga Puja 2020 from October 23, 24 & 25, 2020.

Friday, October 23rd – Drama Reunion – featuring the Dakshini ladies in a story of friendship. Directed by Rajasri Chakraborty. The evening ended with a medley of Agomoni songs by several well known singers from Bengal.

Saturday, October 24th – Puja rituals, online arati and puspanjali was telecasted on zoom to all Dakshini members. The day ended with a wonderful performance by renowned singer Raghab Chatterjee in the evening.

Sunday, October 25th – Dakshini kids presented “Raj Kahini” - a compilation of Bengali poems and songs written by Rabindranath Tagore and Sukumar Roy. Directed by Dr. Pami Mukherjee, dance choreography by Sourabhi Sen.

The day ended with a Bijoya Sammelani on zoom, where Dakshini members were able to greet Bijoya to other members.
